GOLD Educational Tours Scholarship 2025

 

Introduction

Mount Lawley Senior High School aims to maximise the enjoyment of learning and achievement for all students within a compassionate and democratic school culture, encouraging them to be responsible, creative and engaged lifelong learners.

 

GOLD Educational Tours Scholarship

GOLD Educational Tours has offered two scholarships in 2025, one to a student in Year 11 (2025) and one to a student in Year 12 (2025). To be awarded the scholarship, a student must be enrolled in ATAR Japanese.

The student awarded the scholarship will be expected to maintain high standards of behaviour, attend school regularly and achieve acceptable results.

 

Value of the Scholarship

The value of the scholarship is as follows:

Year 11 $250
Year 12 $250

The scholarship funds may be expended on course contributions or charges or on school uniform items (from the School's Uniform Shop).

 

Selection Criteria

The criteria for selecting the winner of the scholarship is as follows:

1. Academic Achievement, especially in Japanese.
2. Interest in Japanese.

Students applying for the scholarship are to submit the following:

  • Application Form.
  • Statement from the student addressing the selection criteria (maximum one typed page).

Applications must be submitted no later than 3.30pm Friday, 1 November, 2024.

The school reserves the right not to award the scholarship to the highest ranked student if that student is in receipt of another scholarship. Applicants will be advised on the outcome as soon as possible. The scholarship will be presented at a school assembly in Term 1, 2025.
