Scholarship 2026

 

Introduction

Mount Lawley Senior High School aims to maximise the enjoyment of learning and achievement for all students within a compassionate and democratic school culture, encouraging them to be responsible, creative and engaged lifelong learners.

 

Korean Association of WA Scholarship

The Korean Association of WA has offered two scholarships. To be awarded a scholarship, a student must be enrolled in a Korean Language Course for Upper and ATAR Korean for Senior School

The student awarded a scholarship will be expected to maintain high standards of behaviour, attend school regularly and achieve acceptable results.

 

Value of the Scholarship

The value of the scholarship is as follows:

Year Value
Year 9 or Year 10 $200
Year 11 or Year 12 $200

The scholarship may be expended on course contributions or charges or on school uniform items (from the School's Uniform Shop).

 

Selection Criteria

The criteria for selecting the winner of the scholarship is as follows:

  1. Academic Achievement across all areas, especially in Korean.
  2. Demonstrating high engagement in Korean.

Students applying for the scholarship are to submit the following:

  • Application Form.
  • Statement from the student addressing the selection criteria (maximum one typed page).

The school reserves the right not to award the scholarship to the highest-ranked student if that student is in receipt of another scholarship. Applicants will be advised on the outcome as soon as possible. The scholarship will be presented at a school assembly.

 

Applications must be submitted no later than 3.30 p.m. Friday, 24 October 2025.
