Class of 2011, Kristina wins Commonwealth Gold
Congratulations to Kristina Krstic from the Class of 2011 for winning a gold medal, with Ellen Ryan, at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in the Lawn Bowls - Women's Pairs event. They defeated England in a nail-biting finish to win with a final score of 19-18. Kristina becomes the first West Australian to win a Commonwealth Games gold medal in this event since 1982.
During her last year at Mount Lawley Senior High School she won gold at the 2011 Junior National Championships and has since gone on to compete successfully in numerous national and international events including the Australian Championships and the Multi-Nations International competition.
After graduating from Mount Lawley Senior High School, Kristina went on to complete a Bachelor of Science (Chiro) and a Bachelor of Chiropractic at Murdoch University. As well as a member of the successful Commonwealth Games team, the Jackaroos, she is also a chiropractor based in Perth.
