Zero2Hero Day 2020
Last week on Friday 6 December, teachers and students celebrated Zero2Hero day by dressing up as their favourite superhero, personal role model or an inner superhero that we aspire to be like. This is a day that raises awareness about youth mental health and the importance of seeking help. The Prefects along with teachers played a game of baseball (in the sweltering 41C degree heat!) during Middle School Lunch 1 and lots of brave middle schoolers joined in. Kyzer our therapy dog and his carer Julie Guilfoyle also joined us on this day to show support! Thanks to everyone who got involved and especially to the committed members of the Student Wellbeing Committee that organised the event. Mount Lawley Senior High School is an offical Act Belong Commit Mentally Healthy School.
