Athletics Carnival 2018 - Update

The 2018 House Athletics Carnival has, finally, been run and won for this year. After another terrible forecast the carnival was moved to week 8 which proved a master stroke as we were met with a fantastic sunny 22-degree day.

This was a tremendous logistics effort by Mr Zen, his staff and administrators involved to reschedule the event and for it to go off with few hitches. The involvement of the students in all the activities was excellent and participation was keen and enthusiastic. It was a fun day and enjoyed by all.

Student spirit and enthusiasm was high with awesome costumes and records being broken throughout the day. Once again novelty events proved popular, however, the Senior School relays, which included a teacher team, stole the show at the end of the day. The teachers finished a more than respectable third out of five.

HPE would like to thank students, staff, parents and the community for their support of the House Athletics Carnival. Congratulations to the individual champions, event winners and champion houses.
