Two Mount Lawley Boys in the AFL Draft
Congratulations to former Mount Lawley Senior High School students Sam Powell-Pepper and Sam Petrevski-Seton, who were drafted into the AFL on Friday night (at pick 18 and pick 6).
Powell-Pepper was a popular student during his time at Mount Lawley SHS, representing the school football side and interschool athletics team.
He was selected at pick 18 by the Port Adelaide Football Club after a solid season playing for East Perth.
Petrevski-Seton attended Mount Lawley SHS briefly after relocating from the Kimberly and adjusting to the rigours of education.
He was selected by the Carlton Football Club at pick 6 in the national draft.
Mr Ruck tells us that the team in the year he had both of them was "quite a good one".
Congratulations to both and good luck for your playing careers.
