Mount Lawley SHS Girls go from Strength to Strength at the Dockers Cup Junior Football Carnival
Some great football was played by our promising Year 7 and Year 8 young female football stars in what was a memorable football carnival held at Jubilee Reserve, Eden Hill, last Friday. This day was a celebration of female football with the aim of recognising the role girls and women play in making the game great.
The girls followed in the footsteps of the school's Year 9 League team and gave it their all. With a 4 win and 2 loss tally, the future of Australian Rules football at Mount Lawley SHS looks bright. In addition to this overall fantastic result, three students were also selected to participate in a development clinic.
