Rotary Four Way Test Speaking Competition
Congratulations to Year 10's Maddy, Penelope, Olivia and Max, who have just competed in the Rotary Four Way Test Speaking Competition at the Mount Lawley Rotary Club.
Each presented a highly entertaining and thoughtful speech that earned them the praises of all who had the privilege to hear them speak.
Each of them also had carefully crafted, prepared and delivered a well-rehearsed speech that addressed the Four Way Test:
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it Build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
Olivia and Maddy were voted the winners and they will compete in the next round on Monday 9th November, against two finalists from Perth College.
The students are to be commended for their maturity and for being prepared to put in the extra work required - especially considering they are in the middle of exams!
