Murdoch Breaks 22 Year Drought!

Murdoch are House Athletics Champions for the first time since 1993 ... more than a few years before all of the students in Murdoch were born.

The efforts of students across all Houses were exceptional, with a number of records falling, and an enthusiastic and competitive spirit evident across the day.

After early success, Murdoch led for almost the entire day, with the last few events and the relays a nervous time for the the Murdoch House Captains.

Murdoch also took out the Middle School Championship, with Hackett deserved champions of the Senior School.

Congratulations to all of our competitors, and our great appreciation to all of the staff who helped to make the carnival a reality.

The Phys Ed staff, under Miss Tempone, did an outstanding job on one of their busiest days of the year, working late into the night over the results to select the Inter-School Athletics Team.

A notable new addition was the addition of automated timing systems on the track, especially helpful with the addition of Year 7 to this year's carnival.
