North-Metro Football Finalists
This afternoon the senior school football side advanced to the North Metropolitan Final against Meter Dei College next Wednesday 1 July 2015.
It was a fantastic result against John Forrest, who had the advantage early and looked like kicking away.
Mount Lawley withstood the early barrage to come out victors by 18 points thanks to a disciplined back 6 and some good work through the middle in the second half.
Please congratulate all players, who ranged from year 10's through to year 12's and has included almost 40 students across the past 8 weeks.
Next week we have a chance to advance to the Grand Final for the first time in 20 years, which is a wonderful achievement.
Thank you to all who supported this afternoon, and if we happen to jag a home final next week, come down and support the lads who have represented the school with a high level of spirit and pride throughout the competition.
