World Cup Fever Arrives Early
On a beautiful autumn afternoon, 150 senior school students played together in the five a side competition overseen by Mark Lee (Pro Football Coaching)
More than 90 fast paced matches were played over five pitches.
There were some outstanding displays of skill and talent shown but most of all an amazing amount of sportsmanship was exhibited by all players.
Behaviour was exemplary from all ensuring that everyone enjoyed the whole afternoon and had a lot of fun.
This event could not take place without the assistance of the many student volunteers who step up and help out - thank you.
The Girl's title was taken out by France in a 2-1 win over Madagascar and the Boys saw that famous footballing nation, Kazakhstan victorious over Saudi Arabia.
This year the annual Mount Lawley Soccer World Cup has been split into separate Middle and Senior school events.
Middle School will take part in a World Cup later in Term 2.
