Centenary of ANZAC
Students from Mount Lawley Senior High School laid wreaths at a number of ANZAC Day ceremonies this year as part of local commemorations, as well as at Hellfire Pass and Gallipoli.
Our Prefects laid wreaths at the Memorials in Mount Lawley and Mt Hawthorn.
Izaak, our Head Boy also spoke at the Mount Lawley service, about his participation in the 2014 Premier's ANZAC Student Tour to Sandakan in Malaysia.
Our Bush Ranger Cadets also laid a wreath the service at the Mount Lawley Memorial.
Joanna and Nicola (Year 11) have been a part of the Quiet Lion Tour, run by the Ex-Prisoners of War Association, and attended the Dawn Service in Hellfire Pass, part of the Burma Railway in Thailand.
Monroe (Year 12) has been participating in the Premier's ANZAC Student Tour in Turkey, and participated in the Dawn Service at ANZAC Cove.
