Australia Day Awards

Congratulations go to two people associated with the school who were honoured with awards on Australia Day.

Jasmine Cookson, Class of 2013, received a 2015 Premiers Australia Day Active Citizenship Award.

Jasmine was nominated by the P&C President at Weld Square Primary School and endorsed by the City of Bayswater for her work and contribution to the City of Bayswater community as a youth mentor, River Ranger Instructor, volunteer EA, DJ and sports assistant at WSPS and working on the "Green Team" during School Leavers week.

We would also like to congratulate Diana Warnock, who for many years has been the Arts Patron to the school.

Diana was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the community, and to the Parliament of Western Australia.
