Bush Ranger Cadets Weeding at Coolbinia Primary

Our Cadets took on a mighty weeding task at Coolbinia Primary School this week.

The area between the school at its remnant bushland has been suffering from a huge infestation, so much so that plants recently put in by the primary school students have all but disappeared.

The task was a big one, and the Cadets happily took to it with enthusiasm and some great teamwork.

A series of wheelbarrows took away the weeds and brought back the mulch, while everyone proceeded to get incredibly dirty as they removed the offending weeds.

The task proceeded relatively quickly with so many people doing their bit, and received great thanks from Coolbinia Primary School.

Coolbinia Primary School hosts a River Rangers Cadet program, the primary school equivalent of Bush Ranger Cadets.
