The 2014 School Ball
The Mount Lawley Senior High School Year 12 School Ball is an annual highlight of the schools social calendar and is highly anticipated by students in the lead up.
Months of planning and organisation go towards the night and its one to be remembered for years after.
The event allows all Year 12 students the opportunity to gather in a more formal environment to enjoy a night full of social enjoyment.
This formal evening was held at the Hyatt Regency and did not disappoint.
The night began with students and their partners being greeted by the staff and a short time of mingling occurred before dinner began.
There was a buffet set up full of a large selection of food for all the guests to enjoy before a night full of dancing and memories to be made.
After the meals were finished the attention of the night was directed to the dance floor where DJ Wozz kept the energy high and the night was danced away.
Many people must be thanked for the success of the night.
Firstly and most of all Mr Andrew Ruck, the Year 12 Coordinator, must be thanked for all of his hard work and effort that he put into the night. Without him it would have not been what it was.
Also all the staff who attended and helped the night run smoothly including the Student Services team and office staff for their contributions to planning.
Also to the year 12 prefect team, the night could not have gone ahead without them.
Overall the night was a huge success and one that won't be forgotten.
Everyone looked amazing, ate well and danced the night away.
