First Aid Course Delivered by Health & Physical Education Staff
The Certificate II Community Service (Children) students undertook a two day course to achieve their Applied First Aid certificate.
The facilitators of the course were Natalie Tempone, Lee Renner and Mark Howard.
These three HPE staff completed the facilitators training course in 2012 and were delivering the course for the first time at Mt Lawley SHS.
The students completed three competencies within the Applied First Aid course and these were Perform CPR, Apply First Aid and Provide Basic Emergency Life Support.
All the students successfully completed the course and will receive a First Aid certificate to add to their work portfolio's.
