Instructor Recognition Award

We would like to congratulate one of our former staff, Mr. Colin Hawke, who was an Instructor in the Mount Lawley Senior High School Bush Ranger Cadet Unit for several years before his retirement at the end of 2012.

The Hon. Tony Simpson MLA, Minister for Local Government; Community Services; Seniors & Volunteering; Youth (with responsibility for the Cadets WA program) presented Colin with an Instructors Excellence Award in recognition of his exemplary dedication and active role in Mount Lawley Senior High Schools Bush Rangers Unit over the past 4 years and as such, the Bush Rangers WA program more broadly.

Colin's work in supporting the Unit, and in the passing on of his extensive knowledge of camping and the environment made a significant impact on the Unit. Our thanks and congratulations.
