Bush Ranger Cadet Unit Well Underway
The Bush Ranger Cadet Unit welcomes 50 new Cadets this year, taking our Unit size to 80.
There has still been strong interest from parents and students, and we are sorry that we are unable to cater for higher numbers. There will be an option for new Cadets to start in second semester (the start of Term 3), so please look for the Application Forms then.
We also welcome a range of new instructors to the Unit, to join the illustrious ranks of our continuing Instructors. Our thanks to all of them for their valuable contribution to the Unit: Andrew the Chaplain, Ms Tempone (SS Phys Ed), Ms Paterson (SS English), Mr Lazerov (SS Science), Ms Smart (MS Home Ec), Mr Armstrong (MS Media) and Mr Tipping (SS Phys Ed). We also have other staff who help out now and then, particularly with some of our camps.
Our first camp heads of in a few short weeks to the beaches and forests near Margaret River, and it will be great to get everyone back out in the bush again.
Copies of our parent newsletter are available from outside Andrew the Chaplain's Office in Student Services, or for download. It is a great little newsletter outlining some of our procedures and our plans for the year.
Once again, welcome to all of our 'newies', we are looking forward to a great year.
