Mount Lawley SHS establishes another Sister School relationship. What started in 2009 by a visit from the principal of Houzhai Middle School Mr Chen to Mount Lawley SHS, matured into an agreement between the schools to foster ongoing and mutually beneficial arrangements.
This was commemorated by an official signing between the two schools and an exchange of presents to mark the occasion.
Houzhai Middle School has a population of 2300 students in years 8,9 and 10 and is in the city of Yiwu in Zheijiang province.
Yiwu itself has undergone tremendous development in a few short years, primarily due to its positioning as the largest small commodities market in the world.
The movement of commodities in the city is non-stop!
