Warwick Hemsley
Warwick started as an accountant but has worked in real estate for much of his professional life. Initially as a brickie’s labourer and, notably, as Managing Director of Peet Limited where he helped grow the company from a $300,000 valuation to around $800m.
Warwick has also been well known for his philanthropy and support of the community, particularly in the area of the arts.
He has worked with a range of arts bodies, from the National Gallery and the WA Opera to the Kimberley Foundation (preserving rock art), the Winston Churchill memorial Trust and Anglicare’s Winter Appeal.
In 2016, he was recognised for his efforts by winning the West Australian of the Year Arts & Culture Award.
