Simon Stone
Simon completed his Articles of Clerkship in 1978, and was Admitted to Practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
He spent 7 years at the Legal Aid Commission working in the Family, Extension Services and Criminal Law Sections, and in 1982 was Admitted to Practice in the High Court of Australia.
In 1984, Simon took up a position as Crown Counsel with the Hong Kong Government's Attorney General's Chambers before returning to Perth to work in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Eventually, in 2009, he was appointed as a Judge to the District Court of Western Australia and retired from this position in 2020..
