Sue Doherty

Sue has a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Studies, and her early career included work in areas as diverse as social services, education, alternative dispute resolution, contract management, community engagement and change management.

 

In 2002, she ran for the Councillor elections for the City of South Perth and has served as a Councillor ever since. In 2009 Sue was appointed Deputy Mayor and appointed as Mayor of the City of South Perth in 2011.

 

In 2010, she received a Distinguished Service Award from the Western Australian Local Government Authority.
